My Simplero Story

Grab your coffee and let me tell you about a girl Friday. She worked in a marketing and mail-house company and then went on to work for a publishing company until she found herself with a new baby. That girl Friday could often be found nose in a book studying some new method of marketing. She could be found knee-deep in spreadsheets and numbers solving the world's problems. You could even find her in the copy room filling the paper and making coffee.

That girl Friday was me, and if I'm honest I loved it. I enjoyed being the go-to person, learning all the aspects of business, jumping in where I was needed, and holding the answers.  When I decided to stay home with my kids I knew I needed to feed the side of me that adored business, and being a virtual assistant filled that need!

I've worked Out of Simplero...

As a VA I learned all the things. My identity as a girl Friday made me an accessible VA. I would learn any software you used for your business. If you didn't know what software you wanted, I would research the options, create trial accounts, try them and make recommendations. If there is a SAAS company out there chances are I have tried it before. It was great until it wasn't. I learned a lot, but the problem with being a girl Friday is that while you can do a great many things, you are not a master in any one of them.

I've worked In Simplero...

At this point in the story, Simplero entered my life. I was supporting clients whose businesses were spread across multiple platforms... WordPress, Acuity, PayPal, teachable, and Mailchimp, just to name a few. These entrepreneurs, with amazing businesses, were getting bogged down with their technology. So much time was spent transferring client information across platforms and working to create seamless client experiences. I was introduced to Simplero an all-in-one platform for coaches and course creators, and immediately saw the benefit for my clients. I could simplify their operations with a single software. It wasn't just a membership site and course software it would handle their invoicing, emails, and landing pages.

I've worked for Simplero...

When I say I have worked in, out, and for Simplero. I mean it. I learned the competitors, I learned Simplero and then I partnered with Simplero. The more I learned the more I loved Simplero. But there was a glaring gap for my clients. There was little training on how the software worked. The only way to learn was hands-on. Calvin, the master behind the code once told me he wanted it to be simple, logical, make sense. He wanted to solve the overwhelm many business owners feel towards SAAS products. In my opinion, he succeeded; each step is logical, as you begin to create you move from point a to point b and the system prompts you to do so. The problem is if you didn't know how the software works it can be overwhelming. The number one complaint I get from clients looking into Simplero is that it is too overwhelming, too many options, and they aren't clear on the "right" way. It's true, but I believe that is because Calvin did his job a little too well and it's designed to be easy for anyone, leaving many possible roads, and the "right" one is the road that is logical to you.

So I reached out and partnered with Simplero helping them expand their help guides and answer support tickets. Again the more I learned about the software the more I loved it. Truly, I could go on all day about the beauty of the code, and all its idiosyncrasies that make me love it; but if you're not a tech person that might bore you. Just know I love it to the moon and back and if you want to hear a soapbox, I'm happy to deliver! I went on to teach webinars and ultimately started the Simplero Concierge department to help entrepreneurs like you get started in the software.

Now, I work with your Simplero...

Life has moved me on into a new role in my career but Simplero is still my favorite SAAS out there. It is truly an All-in-one platform, and makes running a business simple. In Simplero you can create multiple websites, landing pages, membership sites, courses, emails, products/purchases. It integrates with Acuity and Zoom. And on the off chance, you have a need Simplero can't meet it integrates with Zapier (but in my almost decade-long relationship with Simplero I can count on one hand the number of times I needed Zapier.)
